1976 F-250 Ranger XLT Highboy. Fresh 390 with Holley Street Avenger 750 4bbl, new C-6 auto tranny, new 3" dual exhaust with Flow Masters. Original power assist steering is rebuilt and works effortlessly just like a new truck. New 315/75-16 Toyo M/T tires. Fresh, complete museum quality, frame-off restoration. Fresh base coat/ clear coat Midnight blue metallic paint. This is the original "S" code Ford blue. Frame was stripped, primed, coated with POR-15, then undercoated with a light texture undercoating as originals were. Rear end housings and drive lines were stripped, primed, painted with POR-15, then painted semi-gloss black. I added chrome differential covers, but also have the stock ones. The interior was completely covered with Dynamat Extreme, under carpet, headliner, firewall, behind gas tank, etc. See pictures. Truck has a Marti Report from Marty Auto Works. (He is the vintage Ford authority guy) This is a real F-250 4x4, NOT a 2wd cab on a 4x4 frame like some are. Truck has never had any rust at all. Always a dry climate truck. No patch panels added. This truck is built with 90% NOS (new old stock) Ford parts, all brand new in the Ford boxes when I bought them. No "junk yard" parts were used. Truck has only 29 miles on it since the restoration last year. Never exposed to rain, and always stored in a climate controlled garage. I also added lots of pictures during the build of the new, NOS parts before I installed them (see listing pictures) Brand new Ford NOS parts include: Locking hubs (paid over $1, 000 for these hubs new in the boxes) grille shell, camper special tow mirrors, all emblems including glove box emblem, bed side emblems, fender emblems, grille emblem, all XLT trim, upper body side moldings, lower body side moldings, wheel opening moldings, windshield molding, rear window molding, all four tailgate moldings, blue Ranger XLT headliner, Ranger XLT blue door panels (very hard items to find and not cheap!) passenger side wood grain dash trim, dash vents, steering wheel, wood grain horn pad, blue dash pad, bumper guards, almost all the wire harness, tail lights and tail light moldings, marker lights, park lights, all gauges except speedo, seat belt warning buzzer, jack and jack handles, turn signal cam, harness, and lever, auto column shift handle, knob and rubber bushings in column, column shift indicator housing and lens, transfer case shift knob, transfer case shift boot and chrome trim ring for the carpet, gas tank sending unit, antenna, cigarette lighter, AM radio, heater control panel, cargo light and switch, etc, etc. The only reproduction parts used were the wood grain instrument bezel, grille inserts, and front bumper. These three items came from Dennis Carpenter Ford parts, and are licensed Ford parts. I' m sure there are plenty more NOS parts, but this is just stuff I can think of off the top of my head. The seat is currently at the upholstery shop getting finished up and will be completed and installed soon. It is being redone with correct blue NOS 1976 Ford Ranger XLT material. This material came directly from SMS Auto fabrics (largest distributor for NOS auto fabrics). Seat will be covered exactly as original, with the proper stitching and blue/chrome XLT medallions in the back. I also have boxes of original parts that came off of this truck that go with it. This was also an A/C truck. I didn' t add the compressor, condenser, etc, because I knew I wouldn' t use the A/C, and thought it cluttered up the engine compartment, but could be added easily. I also have most of the parts to add factory cruise control to it. This truck is 100% finished, and is show quality. Will need nothing done to it. Everything is brand new. Email me with any questions prior to bidding. I have a clear title in hand. I will consider several muscle car trades, especially ' 69-' 71 Mopar car trades, up or down, or will consider modern Challenger trades up or down, for my wife is wanting a SRT8 Challenger.
